Mark is a graduate of the James Cook University, class of 2007.

Being a Townsville local, he did his medical internship at the Townsville Hospital and continued to work in the North Queensland Region in varied medical positions before obtaining the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice.

With extensive clinical experience in rural medicine, palliative care, anaesthetics and paediatrics, he now has special interest in family medicine, simple practice-based skin procedures and travel medicine.

Away from medicine, Mark is an enthusiast in travel, photography and sports.
