Dr Julian obtained his qualifications from James Cook University in 2015. In 2025 Dr Julian fellowed with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Julian has particular interests in chronic disease management, paediatrics, and palliative care. He also has an interest in women's health, specifically menopause support and antenatal care (he is aligned with Mater Mothers for shared antenatal care).

Outside of work, Julian enjoys spending time with his family and two dogs, Mac and Ruby. Julian has a particular love for the arts and is always up for a game of DnD.
