Our fee policy ensures that the gap amount is similar regardless of the time for the consulation.

Appointments on a Saturday after 1pm or anytime on a Sunday or public holiday will be charged at a higher rate, however, the gap amount stays the same. A standard consult during these times will be charged at $90.

*Discount rates apply to overseas residents studying in Australia on presentation of their student ID.

We Bulk Bill the following:

  • children 15 years of age or under,
  • full time domestic students 25 years or under, and
  • pension card holders 65 years or over and DVA card holders**

**Bulk billing eligibility provided by Turbot Street Medical Centre may not extend to additional tests such as radiology, pathology etc. To find out the costs of any referral from your GP, you should liaise directly with the referring partner.

Patients with a valid Medicare card are entitled to the rebate as outlined above. We can process your rebate straight back in your account at the practice itself. 

We have agreements with a number of OSHC providers including AHM, BUPA, NIB, Allianz which means students only have to pay $13-$15 depending on the insurance provider. 

We have agreements with BUPA (OVC Cards) and NIB (IMAN cards) for working visa to charge the rebate amount directly to the insurance provider, which means the patients only need to pay the gap amount of about $38-$41.

  • First presentation and investigations of headaches / tiredness / abdominal pain / back pain / chest pain / dizziness / abnormal vaginal bleeding / low abdominal pains
