Dr. Marsden is a UK trained GP with 9 years experience in both primary and secondary care. Dr. Marsden has interests in emergency medicine, minor surgery and many others. Dr. Marsden also spends 1 week per month working in rural Australia with the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Dr. Marsden has rotated through many specialties including family medicine, mental health, paediatrics, emergency medicine, women's health, gastroenterology, general medicine, general surgery and orthopaedics, consolidating his knowledge in each area. He holds up-to-date certificates in both adult and paediatric life support as well as being an Advanced Trauma Life Support instructor.
In his spare time, George is a passionate fisherman, fitness enthusiast and musician. George plays piano and double-bass for ' The Black Diamond Express', a semi-professional folk-rock band in Scotland who continue to tour locally and internationally.
Dr. George Marsden works usually on the weekends at Turbot St Medical Centre in locum capacity. He is currently away overseas, please make an appointment with one of our regular GPs in his absence.
